Teacher is profession and is not just a job of livehood. Teacher is a job that requires expertise, responsibility, spirit of the corp, knowledge development, provision of facilities, nsititution, association, and recognition by the audience. However, various empirical studies about the existence of the teacher as a “profession” and “professional worker” reveal much about the various dimensions that not always gives pride to teacher itself. Therefore, awareness and wisdom of teachers to understand and comply with the various dimensions of teacher professionalism become necessary, when the public increasingly demanding their educated learning services expertise.
